After several years of providing finishing facilities for numerous other brands, the company has this year down sized to concentrate purely on the manufacture of high quality Black and White Surfboards. Although the majority of boards made are custom orders, we also supply a few selected surf shops.

The future of Black and White, and the whole British surfboard manufacturing industry is at threat from cheap imported boards. We need to educate the British surfer to recognize that the surfboards manufactured in this country are among the very best in the world, the shapes are shapes that work in our waves, surfboards here are still made by craftsmen who have a passion for surfing. At Black and White every board is made with the anticipation of how well it will perform, not a day goes by without one of us picking up a new board and saying "I wouldn't mind trying this one"! Surfing has always been about expression and individuality how better to show that than by surfing a custom surfboard with a good local pedigree.
