	Shapers are often accused of not considering the Glasser when designing intricate shapes and contours. Mani feeling slightly intimidated by the "Silver Back" glasser, "how deep did you say the Bat-tail channel was"?

	Californian artist Harry "the hat" Daily called at the factory in the summer. We made these Speed Dialers as part of a collection Harry painted for the Switch-Foot exhibition held at the Driftwood Gallery in Newquay www.driftwoodgallery .co.uk

	In October Black and White went to Wittering for the Wittering Surf Shop beach open day. The swell didn't appear, but the sun was out. Thanks to Nick, Lizzie and the boys for a great weekend.
