Traditional Twin Fin
The traditional Twin Fin is a template that hasn't’t
been changed since it first came to this country
in the mid / late seventies. This is the style of
board that Mark Richards surfed to great affect
to win his world titles (but not exclusively) The
Twin Fin has incredible speed and maneuverability
and is an ideal board for British beachbreak waves
feeling more like riding a skateboard on a wave
rather than a Surfboard. The only addition to the
original board is the stabilizer ½ fin which
helps to stop excessive side slipping in turns.
The bottom contours are; slight nose vee to a flat
planning area then vee through the tail, simple
but affective. Fin options are either our own twin
fin template glassed-on or Lokbox removable fins.
Lokbox have an extensive range of Twin Fin templates
which are suitable for this type of board.

6'4"

The Flying
Pig
The Flying Pig is a modified Twin
Fin, one of our Trinity Surfboard
designs. This board has several distinctive features,
very wide at 22”, high volume but thin rails
achieved by having a step deck, six deep belly channels
and big twin fins. It is extremely fast and loose,
it catches waves easily thanks to the width and the
extra foam in the deck. The step deck reduces the
thickness of the board to give a more modern rail
line which helps the board to bite in the turns. This
shape feels even livelier with the belly channels
that accelerate the board off the bottom allowing
the surfer to make sections that almost seem impossible.
Fins can be either our own large twin fin template
glassed-on or Lokbox removable fin system fitted with
the Rusty Turbo template. A ½ fin stabilizer
is fitted as standard to provide more control.

Flying Pig available from 5’10” to 6’4”
The Keel Fin Fish and The Traditional
Keel Fin Fish
  |
The Keel
Fin Fish
Our keel fin fish has been designed by Errol
Hickman who combined the best of the traditional
template with more modern fin settings and board
displacement.
Fins can be glassed on (either our own template
or Rainbow fin company) or we can fit Lokbox
boxes allowing you the freedom to change fin
shapes and experiment with their large selection
of twin and keel fin sets |

The
Traditional Keel Fin Fish |
The Traditional Keel Fin is a more
contemporary template, wider in the
tail making for slightly straighter
rail lines. The Keel fins are more
upright and less toed-in than on our
other Keel Fin model. Although Traditional
in shape we have refrained from keeping
the traditional thickness, this board
is still designed to be quick and
maneuverable so thinner rails and
slight double concave into and through
the fin area.

This Traditional
Keel Fin, with double stringers
and red glue line won the best
board in show at the 2007 European

The Gideon Egg
The Gideon Egg is one of our
Trinity Surfboards designs,
this shape evolved with the help of Polzeath
stylist Gideon, who has a really distinctive
smooth longboard style. The template is a full
rounded egg shape with a rounded pintail. The
template suits a sharper tail on the longer
sizes or if the surfer wants a thrusters fin
set-up. The nose is a flipped Dolphin nose which
gives it a distinctive look. Bottom contours
are high lift nose rails with a nose concave,
through to flat and double concave or vee through
the tail. The best fin set-up has been a center
box with 8.5” TK Flex rainbow
fin and side fins. If Standard thruster fins
are preferred then the board suits double concaves
through the fins making it more responsive to
back foot surfing.

The Tanker
Model
The Tanker is the stop gap between the Egg and the
Longboard. Mid-length, wide and thick, great for catching
waves. Its float and stability are good for; beginners
who don’t like the Minimal image, capable surfers
who don’t have the opportunity to surf regularly
and the experienced heavier surfer that likes to throw
their weight into turns and trim.
As with most classic shapes contours are slight nose
concave, flat to vee, double concave can be added
if requested. Fin set-up is either single fin or center
fin with small side fins, always ask for advise on
fins if you are not sure, the right fin can totally
change how a board surfs and can depend on weight,
style and ability.

Tanker Model available from 7'2"
to 8'6"
